13+ sentences about sailing

My 3rd grade teacher is pushing us to write more, at least 13 sentences.  So for this blog post, I have written 13+ sentences about our sailing trip.

Today I went on our sailboat. It was way more fun than I imagined.  When we left the marina, I was so happy because I was moving on our sailboat for the first time.  Let me tell you a bit about our sailboat – It is white, 40 feet and her name is Windependent.  I learned today that all boats are female.  I also learned that there are two toilets onboard and 3 bedrooms.  I will be sleeping on the back left bed.  I just remembered that on a boat, port is left.  It was sunny and that made me happy.  While we were sailing, I saw a seal in the ocean.  He was awake and floating on his back and probably eating shells.  We watched a movie while we were going back to the dock.  I helped Dad by sailing the boat.  I steered the boat with a big steering wheel.  When we got off the boat, I was sad because it was so much fun on the boat.

Frogs

I got some frogs at the Juanita Farmer's Market on Friday.  They were only $25 for a container like that with 2 frogs and a snail.  It was $35 for one three times this size and $5 for food for a year.  This is a whole ecosystem with the snail, plant and frogs and the rock.

There is George swimming looking at the camera.  You cannot seem Sam, he is hiding.

That is how big the container is for only $25.

We're going to name the snail next...what about Slow Poke the Snail?
